More than one month prior to check-in date: No forfeit – full refund

25-30 days prior to check-in date: Forfeit 25% of the deposit

18-24 days prior to check-in date: Forfeit 50% of the deposit

10-17 days prior to check-in date: Forfeit 75% of the deposit

01-09 days prior to check-in date: Forfeit 100% of the deposit

Non-/ late arrival or early departure: No refund – the total booking value is forfeit / payable

No refund for: Reduction in number of guests

All refunds or changes requested on booking dates: A R200 admin fee will apply.

In case of a refund amount less than R800, it will be kept as a credit for future visits.

A 50% deposit secures your booking. Payment to be made within 12 hours from making booking online. The balance of your booking is payable one week before arrival or at least 48 hours before arrival.

A 100% deposit is required for bookings made within 7 days prior to arrival.

A 100% deposit is required for ONE-NIGHT stays.

Payments must be made by prior EFT or through Credit card (3D secure) link. 

NO CASH accepted on the premises.

NO CREDIT CARD facilities on the premises.

Please read carefully the information below. By accepting the booking you have chosen to adhere to the rules as well as the terms & conditions set out below. Bly-‘n-Bietjie will not be held responsible for any loss or injury to yourself or your possessions.

• Normal CHECK-IN time: AFTER 13:00.
• Normal CHECK-OUT time: BEFORE 10:00.
• All bookings are subject to availability.
• Bly-‘n-Bietjie accepts NO responsibility for any injury/accident/losses/damages to you or your possessions during your stay.
• You are entering Bly-‘n-Bietjie and its premises at your own risk.
• NO visitors are allowed during your stay.
• NO music, noise, or excessive use of alcohol allowed. Bly-‘n-Bietjie is NOT A PARTY VENUE.
• Please confirm your estimated ARRIVAL TIME at least one day before your arrival (Phone, email whatsapp or SMS).
• No pets allowed, not even cute, adorable ones.
• NO smoking allowed inside units or in any room. A R500 damage fee will be charged if the inside of the unit smells like cigarette smoke.
• Gathering of own firewood is strictly prohibited.
• No fires except at the build-in braai area. Please do not leave fire unattended and distinguish fire when you leave the braai area.
• No inside furniture allowed to be carried outside. Please use chairs and benches provided at braai-area or plastic chairs and table provided outside on veranda/patio.
• Please respect NO ENTRY and PRIVATE PROPERTY signs.
• NO drinking or GLASS items allowed around or near the swimming pool.
• NO smoking allowed inside or outside the swimming pool.
• Minor children must be accompanied by an adult when using the swimming pool.
• Bath towels not allowed at the swimming pool – please bring your own swim/beach towels.
• NO smoking allowed on walking trail.
• NO chasing, feeding or disturbing the animals on the walking trail.

A replacement fee will be charged if towels, cushions, blankets or any other linen is missing from the unit after checkout.

• Towels: R200 per towel
• Blankets: R500 per blanket
• Cushions: R250 per cushion
• Other linen: R200

If the unit is left in an unclean and dirty state resulting in extra cleaning, a penalty fee of R200 will be charged.
